McGraw Sportsmen's Club Spring Turkey Contest Results
McGraw - 8th Annual Eastern Wild Turkey Contest held their presentation of prizes on June 8th at 10:30 a.m. at the McGraw Sportsmen’s Club, 3154 Ridge Road, McGraw, NY.  The club would like to thank all the businesses and individuals who donated their time or prizes to the contest. The winners were chosen based on the scoring rules of the National Turkey Federation using weight, beard and spur length.

Winners are: Open Class:  1st Place – Art Kirk Jr. - Cuyler; 2nd – Blake Willcox - Homer; 3rd – Greg Fuller - Truxton

Junior Class:  1st Place – Thad Parks - DeRuyter.

Best Combined Score of 2 birds – Art Kirk Jr. - Cuyler

Best Non-Typical Bird – Rick Rosato - McGraw

Longest Beard – Michael Mead - Moravia                       

Longest Spurs – Greg Fuller - Truxton

Heaviest Bird – Jim Mumper – Nedrow

                The six winners of the drawing for the Half Price Two Day Fishing “Promo” Trip to Canada for Two (donated by Musky Joe Tours of Cortland) were Tammy DeOrsey – Jordan, Patrick Nadge – Cortland, Harold White – Truxton, Mike Whittaker – Cincinnatus, and Tim Tillotson -  Cincinnatus won two chances.
